DITO’S GARDEN
We are a small regenerative set-up in Grand Baie, Mauritius. We grow nutritious vegetables in living soils using our in-house DITO’S Vermicompost. We turn local organics (coffee grounds, leaf litter, farm manures, cardboard and shredded paper) into DITO’S Vermicompost and DITO’S Mulch & Compost Mix. We design worm bins for home gardeners, farmers and businesses that want to make their own vermicompost, including breeder bins to start a strong worm colony. Everything is tested in our own beds first, then shared with clear guidance and steady support. The aim is practical: build living soils, reduce waste, and help you grow with confidence.

BUY DITO’S Worms
Mixed culture of red wigglers and Indian blues in living vermicompost, with adults, young worms and cocoons. Sold by the litre for starting a new bin or boosting an existing colony. Also the right choice if you plan to set up your own worm bin from scratch.
Note for beginners: add these worms to a dedicated worm bin or a clearly separated cool compost area. Do not put them straight into a hot compost heap. Red wigglers and Indian blues are surface-dwelling, cool-compost species and will not survive hot composting temperatures.
Benefits: quick establishment, robust population growth.
Simple use: add 1–3 litres to fresh, moist bedding in a ventilated bin, keep shaded, and feed lightly in the first week. Keep the worm area separate from hot compost.
